This AMI Tulip is for a Spring Swap that I am doing. I think it turned out pretty cute. I had to put a skewer in the middle for extra support. The flower stands on its own but I feel better knowing that the skewer is inside. The bottom holds plastic pellets for stability. I might have to make one for myself since we don't own the house we live in right now. There are no flowers to speak of here. :o(
I made these coasters for a Christmas All Year Swap. They are going to the same person that is getting the AMI Tulip. I hope that she likes what I am sending to her. :o)
I know that it has been a while since I have posted on this blog.....seems that life keeps getting in the way. I will try and post more often. :o)

I made this pumpkin for a "pumpkin swap" I am in for a crochet group. I think he turned out so cute. He has a leaf and three tendrils. I am not sure what I am going to name him or let the person who gets him name him. Now I have to make one for me. :o)

Angel Plastic Bag Holder
I made this angel for a swap that I am on for a crochet group I am a member of. I have never made one of these before and was surprised that she turned out as nice as she did. I hope that the receiver likes her as much as I do. If she doesn't like her, she can send her back to me. ;o)

This is our new friend Jewel. Jewel was found on the beach by some tourists. They didn't know what to do with her so they gave her to us. Jewel is different from the other clams that have been with us. Jewel has a very special gift, for inside of Jewel is a very special pink pearl. Since we can't let Jewel go back to the sea we have decided to send her to a very special friend. We know that Jewel will be loved and taken care of the way she should be.
This little clam was so much fun to make. She is smaller than the other clams that I have made. I made her in pink for a very special friend. I hope that she likes her as much as I do.

Harold and Honora
We just discovered that Charles has a sister named Honora. And Honora has a very dear friend named Harold. These 2 have been friends for a long time. They are so happy that Charles has found a safe place to live. Harold and Honora are just as rare as Charles. As you can see from the photo of Honora and Harold, Honora is the same as Charles. But Harold is a very rare "blue" clam. People want him because he is suppose to taste very good. <shudder> His shell is just as wanted as Honora and Charles' shells. We have also discovered that Honora and Harold have found a very special place in the sea to live. To keep them safe we are keeping their new home a secret. We wish you well Honora and Harold and hope to see you again.
These 2 clams were just as much fun to make as the first one. Both of these clams were made using Red Hearts Shimmer yarn. Of course we had to give Honora a beautiful set of eyelashes. :o)
